Acoustic Freeway....
was the name of an album I bought from Watford Gap service Station for £1.99 and featured tracks from Cat Stevens to Donovan. I felt their spirit flow through me as I sat on my stool on stage at the Barfly last night for a rare foray into an acoustic set. It was fun actually, and lovely to see some new and familiar faces there. The band who were on before us were good in a downbeat wrist slitting kind of way. It was strange to be in an intimate setting after our 'Rock Pantomime poses' on the Hanson tour! Thanks to everyone who showed up, we'll be playing another London Show in June but with electric guitars. Man of the match was Mike who really rocked out with his shaker.....
