Hi from the USA!

I'm in NY after a Texan week of madness at SXSW. Had the most brilliant time - met lots of great people, saw loads of incredible bands and generally had the best time ever, liver damage aside. Highlights were seeing Band of Horses and Broken Social Scene - words do not describe. I also caught Marina and The Diamonds at the Chopshop party and she was actually really great. Totally surprised by that! I also saw my friend, the incredible Sally Seltmann, play at the Central Presbyterian Church and it was nothing short of moving. Dan Mangan was also brilliant! Also managed to catch the lovely Brit Greg Holden doing his thing, but sadly missed Katie Costello, although you can catch them both this week if you happen to be in LA! I also caught a couple of sets by Bleu - who is an amazing talent, and also saw the hilarious and brilliant Linus of Hollywood (pictured above with me and Jaret from Bowling For Soup). So many bands, so many beers... I also went to a fantastic panel hosted by Danny Benair, who does this thing in LA called Record Club at a local music store. It's where people there just generally play music they like, exposing people to all this great new music you might ordinarily never hear. It was so fun and I got to play a Farrah track - which people seemed to like! Yay! Check out their FB page and become a fan: www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=33904921386 OK - that's all from me right now. I'm heading into Manhattan and then meeting up with our talented and wonderful label mate Nate Campany. Adios! Michelle

Hey all, went to see Brendan Benson last night and he was fantastic! For those who don't know who he is, you should really check him out on Spotify.
He played loads of the best of his songs (he has a lot to choose from) and ended with a great cover of 'Listen To Her Heart' by Tom Petty.

Hey all, it's Jez here. I've just been listening to the Owl City album and wondered what you all thought of it out in Farrah land? I'm pretty sure only Farrah and Owl City have both written songs about dentistry (ours was called Famous Dentist) and a few people have said his stuff is similar to ours
